The Horses
Silver Star Stables™ was founded in February of 2001 by our family on Palmberg Rd in Richmond BC. In October 2006, we moved to our new location at 699 - 261st Street, Langley BC. It is run and managed by Christa Miremadi and her husband Amin 'Pinto' Miremadi. It is what we like to call a semi-private stable. We're not the usual public boarding and lesson stable. We do board horses and we do teach lessons but the emphasis here at Silver Star Stables is on the horses (both ours and others'). Our lesson program is designed to prepare the student for horse ownership so that if they choose to go on to buy their own horse, they are prepared for all the responsibilities and joys that horse ownership brings! We teach everything from ground handling to training to first aid for horses! We also raise and train our own (and others') horses for sale and pleasure through Christa Miremadi's methods of natural horsemanship, Horsemanship from the Heart™ The purpose of our stable and our goal/mission are to provide our horses with the gentle, restraint-free, respectful training and handling they deserve and the humans with the knowledge to safely understand and communicate with their horses in order to do the same. We hope to help humans and horses better understand each other. We love and care for all breeds but our passion is definitely the Arabian. We have a variety of breeds residing here, everything from warmbloods to Shetland ponies to our favorite... Arabians. Most of our horses are for sale to the right owner, even the ones who aren't advertised for sale (except for the old members of the family), and all offers will be considered. Most of our boarders, leasers and students are pleasure or trail riders so our stable has a low stress atmosphere and is not a competitive environment. The horses are riden both English and Western and seem to enjoy the versatility that our facilities offer. We have a beautiful, purebred reg. Arabian stallion, Lyndales Starfire, a few good brood mares and a few of Starfire's offspring, as well as a irreplacable team of school horses. equine-imity™
We also have the honour of hosting a wonderful program called equine-imity™ at Silver Star Stables. This is a program designed to use our partners, the horses, as teachers in either the public workshop format, geared towards understanding one's self a little better and discovering one's true potential, or the corporate workshop format in which companies explore different leadership and teamwork techniques in order to better their workplace community.
